Senior Adults at Oxford Baptist

Ageless Love

Ageless Love is a ministry for senior adults at Oxford Baptist Church and friends in the community.  These adults gather for monthly day trips to many different and interesting places.  The primary purpose of the group is to provide fellowship with other members.

Everyone is invited to participate.  You never age out of the need for the love and care of God and others and the giving of yourself to others.

The Burwell School Historic Site preserves the setting for one of the state’s earliest schools for girls, The Burwell Academy for Young Ladies. Today, the site’s two-acre property encompasses the Burwell residence (ca. 1821, 1848), the original brick classroom building of Robert and Margaret Anna Burwell’s school (ca.1837- 1857), and a rare brick “necessary house” (ca. 1837).   Read a little more about the property at The Burwell School
